In 1861 John and Elizabeth with son, Daniel G age 3.
From GRO Index. Daniel  George Hosking Mar 1858. Plymouth.  MMN Ball.

Also in household children "in law" (step children)  named Pengelly. Cornwall OPC site show them to be base children of Elizabeth. Two with middle name Ball

From FreeBmd. John Hocken/Elizabeth Pengelly  Jun 1857 St Germans.

Closest matching baptism for John in St Germans.
John Haddy Hoskin, 18 Dec 1836. Base child of Elizabeth

From Cornwall OPC site.
9 May 1857. St Germans.Marriage. John Hocken, bachelor, of full age. Mason. Father's name Daniel. A mason.
Elizabeth Pengelly. Widow. Of full age. Father John, a sawyer, surname Ball.
Witnesses include Thomas Ball.

I can find no record of a Ball/ Pengelly marriage

I can find no baptism for John Hocken, or variation, son of Daniel.

In 1861 there is a Daniel Hocken, age 73, a Mason, living in St Germans. Wife Jane.  ( From Free Cen)
