Good finds Sc00p & Annette7.
You may be able to find the maintenance orders reported in the local press.
British Newspaper Archives are available online also on FindMyPast, both subscription sites. Not sure what dates they cover but you can search for that online. Sc00p has given you the name of a possible newspaper. Alternatively, a main library may hold recent issues - try emailing Leeds library. There is also the West Yorkshire Archives which may hold records of court cases.

Iv been on the national archive for the last hour with not much luck, same on the West Yorkshire one, going to email Leeds library but unsure on what to ask. Thanks again for the help.

Well, you know the dates of birth of the two sons; ask them which newspapers they hold for those dates. It may be that they haven't been scanned, so a visit will be required to trawl through microfiches. That may not be possible depending where you live, but there are times when our research does mean a visit to archives is the only way - in person or by proxy.
