Help with 2nd Light Tank Company 1933-1935
« on: Wednesday 13 February 19 22:42 GMT (UK) »
Looking for any info to help explain why a 'relative' has a mention for medals for 1933- 1935 whilst serving with 2nd Light Tank Company, Royal Tank Corps in India he was around 22 years of age.
Was there fighting, who was the British fighting etc, did we lose many men?.
Apologies for my lack of knowledge, I would like to know and understand.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe

There is an operational diary at Kew, unfortunately not digitised.
