Ryle of Macclesfield descendant line.

My paternal grandmother Doris Hetty RYLE (6 Oct 1903 - 30 Oct 1957) told her husband of 'Sunday Tea' with the Bishop, and referred to him as 'Uncle'.  I only have her father as Henry RYLE (b. 1876) of Romford, Essex.  Doris married my grandfather Henry Charles WITHAM (1901 - 1 November 1986) of Romford, Essex

I presume the 'Bishop' to be Herbert Edward RYLE (25 May 1856 - 20 August 1925), Bishop of Exeter & Winchester, and Dean of Westminster Abbey (the man who buried the Unknown Warrior, and is now interred at his feet), son of John Charles RYLE (10 May 1816 - 10 June 1900), first Anglican Bishop of Liverpool.  JC Ryle was the son of John RYLE, Silk Merchant of Macclesfield.

I would love to establish the blood line, if any, between Henry RYLE and Herbert Edward RYLE. 

There is now nobody surviving in my paternal upline to interview, and I've not been able to trace more on my Gt Grandfather or his upline, to see where it crosses Rev RYLE's line.

Any advice or answers would be gratefully received

Just to clarify Doris maiden name was Ryle, her father was Ryle and she married a Ryle also?

Have you by any chance looked at Ancestry?

Through 1921 to 1925 ( not checked before) he is listed on the Electoral  registers at
The Deanery, St Peter Westminster
with is wife Nea Huish/Hewish Ryle

There is also an Alumni all about him
