Hi MaxD, very hard to read most sheets just say SAI but one has I think it is says C Coy 3rd Infantry. It says Attested 21 August 1915 and discharged 23 rd May 1917.Looks like it states his illness began 20/3/1917. Thanks again.

3rd Infantry Battalion fought in France from April 1916 having come from Egypt. It may be that he transferred to or from another unit for his service in German East Africa. I have sent you a PM.
