Since my last post I've been to Belraugh, Gortfad, Boleran & Ballymenagh, and seen a Gould!

Ringsend Presbyterian Church, 22 Feb.1848, Thomas McMillan, age 21, carpenter, Belraugh, son of Alexander McMillen, carpenter, to Elizabeth Gold, 21, Boleran, daughter of David Gold, farmer.

Coleraine Registry Office, 27 June 1857, Alexander McMillen, widower, carpenter, Ballynacally, son of Alex McMillan, weaver, t0 Elizabeth Piper, widow, Ballynacally, daughter of David McPherson, weaver.

Ringsend Presbyterian Church, 26 Mar.1857, John McMillan, 24, carpenter, lifetime, son of Alex McMillen, carpenter, to Catherine Gold, 22, lifetime, daughter of Thos. Gold, farmer.

Gould/Gold and McMillan/McMullan are same names.

Killaig Presbyterian Church (Rev. Bryce's notebook):
1844, 26 Aug. "Preached in Ballycaen upper and baptised a daughter to Andr. Morrison (born 1 yr. and 11. ago) in his father-in-law's named Mary-Jane. day Rev. Jas. Kennedy preached in Killaig a 5 p.m."
1852 "Tuesday March 30 at visitations. Baptised a daughter to Andr. Morrison B-menagh born Febr. 28th named Susanna.

More later...

I am Thomas Morrison's granddaughter (George Morrison is my great grandfather). I live in New Zealand.
My husband posted the request for George Morrison Rings end.
Thanks so much for the fantastic amount of information you have given me.
I am also interested in any Information you may get on George Morrisons father who was John Morrison. I don't know his mothers name at all.
The Gould information is relevant to me also.

Thanks again  Val
