On free bdm there is a marriage 1860 registration distr Okehampton  this date I believe is 15 May 1860

on the Bratton Clovelly one name study  26 August 1873  Bride is: HILL Elizabeth Jane

Bella Ann  about 1877 in Sourton

mothers maiden name: HILL

Is it possible they were married twice? or am I getting 2 different people mixed up.

I know Nicholas's aunt was Ann Arthur Brooks (nee Guest) involved in the Bible Christian movement and married to the Rev James Brooks so I was thinking maybe they had to married in the Church England at a later date but it does record Nicholas as a widower on the the Bratton Clovelly name study.

Any ideas would much appreciated.

Nicholas is on the census records at Blackabroom wonder if that's a name of a farm. Just found the farm.
