The Rookery, Leasingham
« on: Saturday 16 February 19 10:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi.

Please could anyone tell me if The Rookery in Leasingham was a single house or an area or...

I have googled it and had family living there in 1939 but can't work out what it was.
Thank you

All I can remember of Leasingham is that there is a long road running through it called Rookery Lane.

'The Rookery' was on Rookery Lane

It appears there might have been several houses there.

HI. Thank you for your replies. The family were the Legg family and the two maps side by side are brilliant. I think you are right, it appears to be a few houses in a contained area. The 1939 register makes it look like there were five houses which fits with the maps.
They all seem to live in individual houses, there don't appear to be any shared properties.
This is great, thank you
