Captain Thomas Robertson of Peterhead

Does anyone out there have anything on the parents etc of Captain Thomas Robertson (captain of the Scotia)1855-1918 born in Peterhead?
I have found a Ogilvie Will Robertson,Father Thomas Robertson shipmaster.I wondered if and how the above might be related?
Thomas the shipmaster was born around 1804 I think.

Birth for a  Thomas Robertson on 8/7/1854 in Peterhead - Parents Robert Robertson and Jane Simpson. Parish no 232 Ref 40 445

Death for a Thomas Robertson in 1918 - Ref 301/85 in Liff, Benvie and Invergowrie.

An obituary in the Dundee Courier, 16 Dec 1918, doesn't name names but includes -
" A native of Peterhead, the captain came from an old whaling family, both his father and grandfather having been whaling skippers".

Can't see a link between the two families at moment.

I wonder if Thomas (father of Ogilvie) and Robert (father of Thomas) were brothers??
I think I read somewhere that there was a Robertson family of Peterhead that were one of the main whaling families of the area.
