I have a James Herrity born 29th January 1913 Blackburn area. Have any of you access to the records to find the parents if possibly please?

I don't know what you know about James but he did marry in 1939 and seems to have lived his life in or around Birmingham, he died in 1977, his marriage cert might be a good idea

You may already have this information but I'll post anyway in case it's helpful...

Following up on the death mentioned by Louisa Maud, James Herrity was buried in May 1977 at Sutton Coldfield Cemetery, his wife Doreen was buried at the same cemetery in January 2003.

There are a total of 7 Herrity burials at Birmingham cemeteries on https://www.birminghamburialrecords.co.uk/

Here's a link to the Herrity burials

Robbins - Wolverhampton.
Spooner - Monmouthshire & Wolverhampton.
Warner & Loundes - Dudley/West Bromwich.
Dod(g)son - Heysham/Liverpool/Wolverhampton

There appears to have been 4 children born to James and Doreen, is it possible to glean any information from them ?

Many thanks for all the information, very much appreciated.
I did know all the recent history (1939 marriage etc) and the son of that union now lives in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. It was the Blackburn part I was looking for but I will take on board all you say and trawl back from the 1913 birth, No doubt the 1911 census will give me some pointers as to Herrity names in the area as well.
Thank you all again.

This is the only Herrity family in Blackburn - and mother is single, which might be of interest
