Parents of Edith Isobel Nye

Morning everyone,

Could anyone assist me please in finding the parents names of Edith Isobel Nye  DoB  1903 Croydon
This lady married John Thomas William Stringer 1926 Croydon
Her fathers name was given as Phillip Nye on marriage certificate
I cannot find these on the 1911 census to verify the parents names  I Know they lived in Croydon area t the time  could it be possible that they omitted he fathers middle name of Frank on this   clutching at straws here
