Looking for some records on Michael McDevitt (aka) McDaid or McDade born Ireland 1931 and emigrated to Australia (area unknown) around 1950/55.
We believe that he may have died in Australia around 2006.

Some more details would be helpful eg his middle name, parents, wife etc. Is birth year 1931, exact or approximate?

The Brisbane Cemetery Site https://graves.brisbane.qld.gov.au  has the Michael found by Cup of life, buried at Hemmant Cemetery.

Michael Joseph McDevitt   BIRTH   21 Feb 1926  DEATH   26 Sep 2006 (aged 80)

buried in the same grave is grave is MCDEVITT Maria   62 Years     date of service   11-08-1988

The ship ORMONDE that arrived in Australia in Sept 1952 had two passengers with the surname McDEVITT  going to Brisbane QLD.
