« on: Tuesday 19 February 19 16:06 GMT (UK) »
I am researching on behalf of a friend.  Her  Grandmother ( Barbara ). Annie Simpson b1910. Lochgelly. Fife. Barbaran is in brackets as she added  this  name herself.

Parents.  Elizabeth MacDonald. b Coatbridge. date not known.    Wiliam Simpson believed from the Antrim area Northen. Ireland b not known  My friend was told they married in 1904  in the Antrim area. She applied for a certificate but was told they could not find them . There was a brother to Annie. William Simpson b 1909
Any help in finding the marriage and birth of the parents would be greatly appreciated . Tineke

Why can't you access the Scottish 1911 - it's available on SP  www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk which is a pay per view site with a free index

The birth reg for Annie should show when her parents married

Was brother William also born in Scotland?  If he was the eldest it seems a while between a 1904 marriage and 1909
