Forgot you asked for this

Not sure what death record you are referring to, but Elizabeth’s headstone says b 1860.  https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/172447977

Not sure who the source of that info was. Maybe her younger brother John or one of her nieces. Seems it is probably not accurate. Her nieces Bernadette , Regina and Ann Marie. They lived with her and their father, mother, uncle & aunts

The 1900 census is so full of errors intentional or otherwise as to be almost useless. Lizzie wasn't younger than John.  She wasn't born in the US. Maybe unlike her brother Thomas she didn't apply for citizenship and that was the reason.

Then maybe that baptism record in 1859 is for your Lizzie.

1862 didn't look right, based on the 1870 and 1880 censuses, but I wanted to see if you had anything else on her.

If you have a subscription to a site that has indexed the parish registers, you might be able to find the other children. Or if you keep an eye out, they sometimes have free weekends. Ancestry.co.uk just had a free weekend for Irish and British records a couple weeks ago. findmypast.ie has free weekends as well. Maybe someone will do the same for St.  Patrick's Day.

I also looked at Griffith's valuation for a Bernard Dolan in Roscommon who was renting a house but no land, figuring that a shoemaker might do things that way. But all the ones I found were renting land. So no help there. He is probably one of the men on the list, and farmed some land besides being a shoemaker.

I had gone through the baptism records on RootsIreland a while back. I had seen the one for Lizzie and thought it was probably correct. They also had Margaret’s baptism 1861.

Their sister Margaret was still with them in 1880, 19 years by then. But by 1892 she wasn’t.  If she married it is a very common name. So I wasn’t able to find her. Many Margaret Dolan marriages in Brooklyn then. But only indexed on family search with no mention of parents.
