Hi guys
   Looking for information on a rose Lloyd born abt 1900 in Chester she married a Thomas idris Lewis born Swansea and 1893 they married York Ontario Canada 30 Jan 1925 in 1930 there at wyandotte  Wayne Michigan I'm trying to see if there is any mention of her parents as my rose Lloyd born Chester and about same date of birth  her parents are simon  Lloyd and Ellen mills

          Everything matches apart from mothers name my rose Lloyd mum was always down as Ellen mills on her birth and married this one is Eleanor mills ? Could the name have been put  down wrong i know Ellen is short for Eleanor but like I said on everything else it's Ellen mills

Yes.  I doubt that Rose would have had to prove what her parents names were and maybe that is what she thought her mothers full name was

This doesn't help with the issue of Ellen/Elleanor but, in case you don't have it, this appears to be Rose in the 1921 Canada census. She is down as born Wales but the address she is living at is the same as that given on her marriage record and border crossings.

Border Crossing Canada - arriving Detroit 15 March 1925 - Rose Lloyd Lewis born Chester England abt 1900.
Husband Thomas - last permanent address Toronto - going to Wyandotte Michigan.
