Johnsons of darton

 I had relations from darton back in 1703 john jonson.he had robert jonson in 1736.he married Elizabeth lindley in 1763 from darton.just wondering if there are any of the family lines are still about.big ask I know.😎

To get back to John Jonson in 1703 and Robert Jonson in 1736, you must have traced the family back from yourself through the generations to Robert then to John. In which case, you must know of Jonson descendents still living, including yourself. 

Is there anyone or anything specific you are looking for?

Still not sure where the family line ended in darton or continued in darton.one line follows john son of robert who moved to meltham.he was a land surveyor.robert remained in darton.trying to locate the others.thanks

Meltham in in Yorkshire so I think we are looking in Yorkshire.

Sorry for taking so long to reply.yes I have traced family back to 1703.but i know nothing about the johnsons in darton.i have only traced john son of Robert born 1762,he married esther metcalf.then he moved to meltham,died  there in 1842.was

Sorry Sitrep, I am still not sure exactly what you are looking for.

Have I got this right?
Robert Jonson married Elizabeth Lindley from Darton.
Their son John moved to Meltham.
Robert's father was also called John.
You are trying to find out where Robert and his father John came from? 
Have you found John, Robert or Elizabeth's births in parish records in Darton?
You know they married in Darton. Have you seen the marriage entry? Does it say where bride and groom came from?
Have you looked at Darton parish registers to see if the Jonson surname features there?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am trying to clarify what you already know and what you are looking to find out.
