It is really quite clearly written apart from some poor spelling. Which bits are you struggling with?

I can read some but just wanted if possible a re type or opinion on the whole thing rather than a few words

Probably the best way for you is to type out what you can make out and others can rectify anything amiss.

The word before 'Ian' is 'same'  ie the writer is well.  His penmanship is easy to read if you are of my own generation,  but the conversational style may not be current.

He signs off as Old Lodger.  If you are still without a full transcription I will type it up later today.
