Thank you so much for filling in my missing pieces, what a nice surprise to log in and find it all, do you know if Charles's parents are Thomas and Mary? hopefully they can be found, I will leave you alone after this, I am going to Adelaide for 4 weeks so won't be doing any research.

Cheers

It looks like those are probably the right names for Charles HUNT's parents.  I'd be interested to know what your relationship is to this family, as we might have something in common.

Also, coincidentally, I now live close to Adelaide.  Are you coming for the Fringe?

Hi Cienna,

Not sure how far back you are trying to go, but there is this bapt... in Cholsey which may be of use;
Cholsey St.Mary, Berks
22-1-1831 Charles Hewett Hunt s/o Charles & Dinah, farmer.

Hope you enjoy your stay in Adelaide - I live here as well.
Also went to the Fringe friday night amongst the 1000s. Wear some comfy shoes.

Alan, did you find that one on the OFHS CD?  I was looking at a 1833 Warborough one on Ancestry which fits with the 1841 census.

Thank you Carol and Alan for your replies, I am trying to get back as far as I can on the Hunt family, I am not related but am helping a friend of a friend who knows nothing past his grandparents.

He has been told there is a Robert Hint, he went to Canada and married an Indian squaw, he is really interested in learning about this family.

He is the 2nd great grandson of Charles HUNT/Rachael HAYCROFT, I am doing all I can to help him.

Looking forward to getting to Adelaide, we go there every two years, it's my favorite place after my home town, I lived in Adelaide for 2 years as a teenager and when the opportunity arise mu husband and I go back for s few weeks.....not going to the Fringe, just going to chill and have a break from all the research I have been doing.....

Cheers

Cienna
