Jo Henry Clegg, Milnrow
« on: Saturday 23 February 19 17:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi there
I found this site looking for information of mill owners called Clegg in Milnrow. My grandmother, b1918 was adopted by Jo Henry and Emily Clegg and I found a thread on this site which might be a clue to more info about where his mill was in Milnrow.

Where is Milnrow?
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

It relates to another topic I have replied to here.
Milnrow was in Lancashire. Now Greater Manchester.
I didn't know if I had to post here as well, as intro.
But I have replied on the relevant thread.

No problem.

Probably best to keep all on other thread
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Here is the other thread

I think it might be best to keep to this one as the other thread is a ‘mixed’ thread.
If not perhaps a moderator will decide.

I notice there is a tree which may be yours so you perhaps have all the details.
There is a Probate record in 1951.

Thank you so much, that's amazing. I'm trying to make an account on there now, but am not a member of the Church so not sure I'll see much there.
Thank you for taking your own time to look for me, so kind of you!
