Saffron kilts are for County Antrim!

If we could have got hold of them (to hire) would have worn them at my last wedding ;D
My wife and I chose a blue tartan instead - turned out to be Rangers Dress Tartan ;)

Good job my in-laws were from the right side in NI ;D ;D ;D

The Saffron kilt.
Do not ask me why but for some reason the plural of kilt is not used  ::)
Scotsmen wear the kilt.
Scottish regiments wear the kilt.
But how you would say “ I want to hire kilts “ any other way “ I want to hire
the kilt for so many men”.
It sounds as if they would have to go everywhere together, all in the same kilt.
One ginormous one.
I am surprised that Saffron tartan is worn only in County Antrim,I did not know that.
A couple of years ago it was a short lived fashion for young men to wear the kilt in urban camouflage colours,or grey tweed.
Looked really nice.
The kilt bit came from a book on Highland dress I had, why only singular it did not explain.I had been saying it wrong for years and do you know - I was never corrected- because it is a bit daft after all.
Sorry Skoosh ,and you have had a bad weekend what with the rugby and all.
So have I.
Viktoria.
