Lawn House, Rowley Park

Can anyone help me please with information about Lawn House, Rowley Park? When she emigrated in 1923, Nellie Beardmore gave this as her last address in the UK.

Hi Lawn House in 1911 had a Bowen family living there,  the Head was a Newspaper Proprietor, Nellie would have been ages 10/11 at that time.

Thanks for that but there is no mention of Bowen in the tree. I wonder if Lawn House later had a change of use - perhaps as an unmarried mothers' birthing place.

Hi  are you aware Nellie in 1901/1911 was living with her Grandparents, her birth registration suggests she was ilegetimate.

On the passenger list she is down as a domestic and travelled on the 31 st May 1923 ( lots of other girls from all over  on the same page, wonder why)

Wanted at end of May ,a good maid 18 - 20, four in family, no children, assistance given. Adress  Mrs Bowen, Lawn House, Rowley Park, Stafford.
So looks like she may have been a maid there, that being her last address.
