Hi, I’m looking for information on Alexander Robert M Petrie such as mother and father name and any other information.

Mothers Maiden Name - Melville
Born - is the 1944 in strathmiglo in Fife
Died - 2011 in Glenrothes in Fife Scotland

The only way to find this information would be to order the relevant certificates. They are not available online. Or visit one of the centres in Scotland where you can view online. Don't know how accessible this would be for you.

What I have found from scotlandspeople.gov.uk where these records are kept is as follows -

1. Birth as you said for 1944  -  Ref 457/A6 - This would give you the details of his parents.
2. There is a marriage in 1966 to Agnes Adams H Gear in 1966 -  Ref  459/2 68
3. Death for 2011 -  Ref  432/446

You can email to request copies at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and the charge is £12 for a single certificate or £10 if you order more than one at the same time. Postage is extra.

From the Electoral Register for 2005/2009 there is an Alexander R Petrie living at  162 Dunbeath Drive, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 4PN.

From Dorrie's mention from the marriage index, there is a death for an Agnes Gear/Petrie (mother's maiden name of Adams) in 2002 in Kirkcaldy.
