Enhance Spink House farm WRY not sure if this is even possible!
« on: Tuesday 26 February 19 16:08 GMT (UK) »
Not being knowledgeable about such things, is it at all possible to enhance the farm to the left of the main house in this photograph?  My ancestors lived here in the 1860s to 1870s, and I have been invited to look round by the latest occupant!  It's got secret doors and a tunnel to the next village (so secret no one has found it yet!!).  Dates back to the 1600s.
I think this photo is 1900 - no earlier as the house the centre was built in 1900.

The vicar recorded my ancestor as living at Spink Cottage, though all the other records say Spink House.  No one seemed to think there was a separate cottage...but it looks from this photo as if there was.  Would love to see if anything can be done!

I have given it a go. There does seem to be a cottage attached to the main building. I'm sorry I can't get it any clearer, I hope somebody can improve on this.

Thank you, it certainly looks a bit clearer.  I am sure the end building is a cottage with a chimney.
