Hi Wendy2305, that's interesting because Catherine Ramsay Morrison's daughter, Jemima Whyte, married a William Lowson in 1879. He was the son of Peter Lowson coachman & Ann Langlands (Longlands?) Not sure if there is an obvious connection to your Lowsons, I get the impression there were quite a few Lowsons in Forfar
No obvious connection but I can only get back as far as Alexanders grandfather then there's to few clues and to many Lowson's in Angus never mind Forfar

This is my first time here. If Cristeen is still trying to locate Chapel Park in Forfar it is number 17 Academy Street. I stayed there a few times on hoilday when I was a boy as my 'aunt' lived there and had been a school friend of my mother.If you need any further information just let me know.The house can be seen quite clearly on 'steet view'.
