Oh my goodness!

Sinann -- thank you -- I did find several newspaper reports, including one in 1878 where he was selling a house by auction at 1, Charlemont Terrace because he was moving to Northern Ireland. (He moved to Tyrone where he and his wife had more children). One of the people mentioned in the report you saw was Agnes Blyth -- Peter senior had a daughter named Agnes Blyth.

Hallmark -- how on earth did you find the documents on Family Search. I do NOT understand it at all - far too complicated.

Peter senior had died at 3 Church Rd in 1864. His son Thomas was an executor of his Will (no will exists unfortunately).
His wife Margaret died in 1868 at 44 Blyth Ave. Hence I am not sure who the Margaret Blyth mentioned in 1869 on the document you found actually is - so there must be a daughter by that name.

I am really sorry to have imposed all this upon you - I had no idea it would be so complicated. I had only wanted to know how I could discover when Blyth cottages were built!

Then to cap it all -- Peter junior moves to Scotland - his occupation at death in 1913 is 'Architect' which had cropped up before on baptisms, along with Builder and Gentleman.

You have found out such a lot for me and I am truly grateful --- I'll just try to make sense of it now. I may be gone some time!

Hallmark -- yes possibly Wednesday, or any other day but Sunday!

Funnily enough I have just ordered that marriage certificate from Timeline Genealogy -- yes it costs, but at least I can do it on line by credit card and they are pretty quick as I have used them before. (I sound like an advert now!)

I haven't found a daughter Margaret for Peter senior -- and I am hoping to confirm she is his daughter. Two were born in Scotland in the 1830s-- then he came to Ireland -- I know Thomas was born Dublin from the 1911 Irish census --Peter junior was born 'Ireland' according to the 1911 Scottish census. Margaret isn't one I have found in this nuisance family.

Yes it's an extract I think from the middle of the Margaret Blyth/William Fitzgerald paper. (You are just checking up on me now to see if I have read it!)

As you know they were renting a house from Long in Griffiths.... Agnes is mentioned along with her married name, Mgt isn't mentioned as daughter but reckon she is!
