Thank you Sandra for the obits and both you and polarbear for the censuses; according to the 1921 Canada census they arrived in Canada in 1913 which seems odd as they didn't marry until 1918? Do you think that they then emigrated to the USA in 1925 and travelled backwards and forwards thereafter? As Patricia passed away in Oklohoma, presumably her parents and sister may have passed away there too-maybe my post is on the wrong board?

The hard to read 1944 border crossing says he (or they?) arrived in Canada on the SS Baltic on 29 Sept 1919, via Halifax.  That date would be relying on their memory many years later, keep in mind!

However, the SS Baltic did arrive in Halifax in Sept 19, 1919; it was bringing the troops home.  There was a Henry T. Wilson aboard, heading to his home in Brantford, Ontario. If this is the same Henry (given an incorrect middle initial), his next of kin is "wife".

Hi John,

I think part of the problem is that you didn't give us the full information  :-\ There are lots of Wilson relatives in Ontario.

John Joseph Wilson and Sarah nee Healey appear on a border crossing - Canada to the USA  arriving 05/1919 - John was aged 67 years - again this is hard to read - very blurry - Son-In-Law Thomas Hamilton of Marion Street was mentioned. I think they were probably in transit to England via New York. They had lived in Norwich Ontario.

Originally arrived May 1907 on the Victoria To Montreal.

A son Robert Henry Wilson born 1880 Middlesex - passed away Norwich Oxford Ontario. Spouse was Agnes.  They married 1906 Islington Middlesex.

Patricia Colette Wilson mentioned Uncle Robert on the 1944 border crossing.  Patrica had been in the USA 1935 - 1944 at the Hillyer Street adddress.

Obituary would be handy to see if it mentions brother Henry.  ???
