hi i am trying to trace the marriage of john mcdowall to Jessie mcdowall nee Reid around 1948 the address john stayed at was 77 school wynd anderston Glasgow i think they may have been married at st patricks RC church anderston Glasgow. i also believe they had a son i dont know the sons first name, can any one help

my sister had a old insurance document giving her maiden name as Reid the address on the document was 77 school wynd Glasgow

hi i dont know any dates of Jessica birth or death john mcdowall was my father he was married twice he was born in may 1930 in Glasgow,john married my mother Bridget Burke in 1961 in Glasgow i would like to find out the name of john and Jessica's son as he is my half brother my father did really say anything about his first marriage and his son it was my mother who told me about it when i was about 12 yrs old both my parents have passed away.

In the worst case, your half-brother has died.

You can search for deaths for Mcdowall/Reid, just to see what might have happened. 
Did your Mother know if he kept the Mcdowall surname?

Does it state divorced for your father on your parents marriage certificate?
