How to find my half-sister with little info
« on: Wednesday 06 March 19 17:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I have been looking for my half-sister since my mother told me about her, 3 years ago.
The only information we know is the possible month she was born, the place she was born, and the year she was born. The place my mother had her is now closed and the adoption was a closed adoption and I've been told there are no records. I don't know how true that is.

Is there a possibility of finding her with such little knowledge?

Hi there, are you able to tell us what you know about your half-sister or do you prefer to keep it private? Also, is your half-sister the child of your mother or your father? I'm presuming it's the latter if you're not sure of the exact date of birth.

Best wishes

Can you at least reveal what country this was in, and what year?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
