Another My Heritage query

Just before Christmas I was given a DNA kit from My heritage. I duly joined up (2 year sub), downloaded my gedcom and sent in my kit.
Dna have been returned and results seem to be rather disappointing and most Smart matches are with people from the 13/14 centuries  ::)

My question is ...I have another small tree on my pc (about 10-12 people) of a "possible" connection to my tree. Is it possible to download this to MH as well to see if there are any dna matches

Scotland (Travellers) - Townsend/Townsley, Conway, Stewart
Lanark and Stirling - Jeffrey.
Northumberland/ Durham - Newton, Nixon, Sharp, Greaves, Naters

Ireland, Co. Kerry - Marah/Meara/Mara, McClure, Howard, Melvin

I'm not sure about the 13C matches. Are you clicking on the correct selection.

See the snip below. You need to click on DNA at the top and then click on DNA matches. This will list all your current(living) matches.

Sylvia, You don't get different DNA matches if you upload a different tree, your DNA matches remain the same.

If you are talking about Smart Matches, that is different entirely.

Oh, oh dear, yes sorry that did sound a bit daft!
Gadget, most of the matches I have are for people in the 13/14th century and are smart matches. Not a great deal of help really
Margaret, I should have said is it possible to download this second gedcom to see if any "smart matches" come up. I realise that 'smarts' really don't have much to do with DNA

I don't really take much notice of my Smart Matches as the first batch were mostly errors in their trees. 

Are your  'All Matches'  any closer than 13/14 C ?

There are a few 17 and 1800s, Gadget, but mostly of off-shoots on my tree. My main players are non existant...guess they're not into family history in a big way. Also most of the matches are for people who only have a few people in their tree....sigh!

Those hardly worth calling 'trees' are so frustrating.  My Heritage has a smaller database to call on than the biggies (Ancestry!).

It might be worth you uploading your DNA and your tree to Gedmatch. It's free.
