Much Hoole families
« on: Thursday 07 March 19 13:46 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I am trying to find out when Robert Worthington was born....he married Margery Katon in 1755 at St. Michael, Hoole but I can't find Robert's birth anywhere. I know the Worthington family were in Much Hoole a long time before this date so any information regarding the family would be most welcome. :)
Thank you

There is a baptism for a Robert Worthington 17 February 1731 in Croston, parents John and Alice.

I have several ancestors who lived in Much Hoole but a lot of their Church events took place in Croston.

Thank you - the number of Worthingtons in Croston is rather daunting! I shall assume that this Robert is my ancestor then and take it back from there.
Thanks again.
