uploading cannon pronter without disc

help needed ive just bought a cannon pixmats5100 it comes with a disc i cant get my drawer to open to put dsc in think its damaged can i uplaod it from net im not verry technically minded im afraid any help appreciated   David

Is there not a small hole on drawer where you can insert a small paperclip to open jammed drawer?

On the front of the CD drawer there is a very small hole, insert a straightened paper clip into this and push gently.

The drawer should then open.

i got door open put dsc in bit didnt upload thinks its damaged ive uploaded it on net thanks for link bt where its been uploaded to is mystery wish my son was still at home never been technically mined

i found it pressed run then it says connect printer to laptop using usb theres no usb lead to connect it too i can see ill be messing abt with this until hootsananny    thanks for help i appreciate it

Printers don't usually come with a cable to connect it to the computer as they assume you've got the cable from the previous printer. They can't win either way can they?
