Saint Peter Dale End, Birmingham,Warwick,England

The marriage record does say 'according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church'.

GENUKI is one site for information on churches. Look up place then call up list of churches for the place -  a long list for Birmingham. Profile for each church should give foundation date and dates of registers. There are accompanying maps with each church marked - colour-coded by religious denomination. You can also search for churches by distance from a given place.
If your county of interest is part of the Online Parish Clerks Project, that's another way of finding out about churches in an area.
N.B. Marrying in C. of E. at that time didn't necessarily mean that the bride and groom were Anglicans. Members of other denominations continued to marry in C. of E. long after they were allowed to marry in their own churches. Catholic Church authorities recognised marriages in C. of E. until 1908.

Thanks all for your help, think the Dale End holds the clue, for some reason since swapping computer system can't get in to Family search site, will persevere

I have many marriage certificates, both RC and CofE.  The CofE certificates say the marriage took place in the Established Church....does yours not say that?

Snip from the image available from Ancestry:

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
