Hi Gemma and all

I'm a gg grandson of William Trow, Matthew's (half?) brother. This thread helps to confirm their relationship and other details an 'ancestral report' I was sent some years ago by a more expert genealogist than I am. Their mother, Jane, had a number of illegitimate children and appears in the 1841 census, aged 80, a pauper, living with her youngest son James and his family in Gwenthrew.

I'd be grateful for any corroboration you've found for Jane's ancestry, which in the report I have, goes back to her grandfather James, born about 1690.

Hi Steve,

I'll drop you a DM with my email so we can collaborate more!

DCB and Osprey were amazing with this and without their input, I don't think I would have got any further :-)
