Margaret Ann WATSON , Macduff, Scotland

Hello everyone on this snowy Sunday. I am in need of a little help regarding the above named Margaret Ann WATSON, my maternal Great Grandmother. I know she was born in 1886 in Macduff, Scotland and that she married twice. Firstly, to Innes McKay of Macduff in 1912  and from this marriage my Grandad, Innes McKay was born an only child in 1919. Following the death of her husband in 1927 Margaret Ann Watson married again in 1929 to a John Mair of Macduff.

What I would dearly like to know is something about Margaret Ann Watson's parent's, grandparents and any siblings? I would greatly appreciate any help as this would be the final pieces in my family history jigsaw as regards my Great, Great Grandparents.

Do you have copies of both of her marriage certificates - What information do they give

I don't have the certificates. This information is what I have from my 95yo Grandma who passed away recently and from visiting Margaret Ann Watson's grave in Whitehills,

The 1912 marriage cert says that Margaret's parents are George, fisherman deceased, and Jane - maiden surname looks like Louie.

Her second marriage in 1929 shows the same parents but with the addition of Grant after Jane - Jane Grant Watson MS Louie.

Margaret's birth certificate states born on 20th August 1886 at 10 am.  Address Whitehills, parish of Boyndie, county of Banff.

Parents George Watson Fisherman and Jane Watson MS Louie - they were married 28th October 1875 at Boyndie.

Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China

Marriage details for George and Jane.

Married on 29th October 1875 at Whitehills, parish of Boyndie.  George Watson, Fisherman, Bachelor. Jane Lovie (I read it on other certs as Louie), Domestic Servant, Spinster.

George's parents are Henry Watson fisherman and Janet Watson MS Watson (yes her MS does say Watson!)

Jane's parents are William Lovie, fisherman and Ann Lovie MS Watts.
