Elizabeth, or Ann hughes ?

I have been sent these 2 photos of the same woman, and we have a problem identifying her. A likely date of the photos would, I hope, be a great help, and I would be grateful of any opinions.
The names mentioned under the photo's may not be correct

The first one looks like she is displaying her ring so maybe an engagement photo...can you show the whole photo and the back if you have it please.

The engagement theory would tie in nicely if she was photographed in about 1868.

Just another question, what age would you consider her to be in the first photo?

Age I think this is difficult to determine. I would like to say she could be into her 30s but I am sure she must be younger .... mid to late 20s perhaps?

Not that early YT.....more like 1880s...strange that there is no photographer's name unless it has been cropped of or is a reprint.

I think she could be in her 20s.

It is a problem. I was sent this and others that were in the possession of someone who is no longer with us. He documented her to be someone born in 1848. and she married in 1870 which is why the idea of the engagement ring was attractive. That would make her 22. Just a bit early though if you say 1880. And I, and the person who sent it think it is a copy of another photo.
