Another photo of someone that I have received, a likely date would hopefully help towards finding out who this could be, if someone could date her I would be grateful.

Think I agree with you Carol.     Maybe reprinted onto later card stock? - or are the corners just VERY badly worn??

'Jules Sigismund Guggenheim operated between 1891 and 1913'

He's in Swindon in the 1891 census with an address of Regent Street, and in 1901 at Regent Circus, as on the photo. Both give his birthplace as Henley-on-Thames (approx 1864).

In 1871 and 1881 he's in his father's household in High Street, Oxford; in 1881 he's listed as Sigismund, so perhaps he was known as that to distinguish him from his father, who was also called Jules, and also a photographer.

Thank you for your opinions regarding the date of when the photo was took. I was wondering whether this photo was a reprint which is why I posted it here for an expert appraisal. 1860 gives me a few possibilities, thankyou Treetotal & Wiggy
