Marriage lookup request - LITTLE CRESSINGHAM

Could someone kind please check the details of the marriage between William CARLTON & Ann BURTON - Banns read at Little Cressingham for 24 March 1805, but I can't find the marriage, and it would be useful to check the witnesses.

Family Search shows the actual marriage date as 24.3.1805 but the image shows it as banns

Have you scrolled through the later images?

Thank you for checking this - Ancestry & Familysearch both show the book of Banns, not the actual marriage. I can't find the marriage.

Any possibility the marriage was in Tottington which was Ann's parish according to the banns?

You probably already have this from FS - only 3 mths after the final banns

Yes - sadly Robert must have died as another Robert was baptised in 1809. Thx

Highly likely!  It could easily be that the banns were called in Cressingham, but the marriage was elsewhere nearby - unfortunately I can't find it on Ancestry or FamilySearch.  Many thanks for checking.

The original marriage book for Little Cressingham (1797-1811) is on familysearch and there is no record of the marriage there (very few marriages in fact).   We know the banns were read there but if the marriage took place it wasn't in Little Cressingham.

If the marriage did take place in the brides parish of Tottington, as far as I can tell, marriages for that timespan are not available online.

They have transcribed as Catton not Carlton
