RJ137 - very many thanks, what a wonderful response to my query, and so quickly.

Her husband who died 40 years later is interred Woodlawn Cemetery Wilkinsburg and has a memorial stone, but there didn't appear to  be one for Elizabeth.

So much appreciated,

Regards

Hi Ceeoh,

Glad I was able to help.

To answer you concern about where she is buried, it appears she is also buried in Woodlawn Cemetery Wilkinsburg. She is buried in section 2., same as Chrstopher.

PORTEOUS ELIZABETH JANE 1 Aug 1929 Sec 2

Hope this answers your question.

Wow - the family!

Thank you so much.

Christopher 1868 - 1949 was my father's brother.  They never met!!  Christopher left for America three years before my father was born.

I visited his youngest daughter Marion in 1994 when she was celebrating her 93rd birthday!!

All information so much appreciated, thank you.

Although I have a password and user name for Ancestry (UK I think) I am not a subscriber, (many years ago for a free trial), the site will not allow me into the details, it merely asks me to sign up again for a free trial!
