The couple both died in Southern General Hospital, Glasgow (7 mnths apart) but of the same address in Thornliebank, Glasgow.

I initially done some online searches (as you do) to no avail & have been in touch by phone to all possible burial places surrounding the area they lived/died (all extremely helpful) including the Co-op Funeral Directors who have records from the era I'm interested in (1974) with no luck so far.

The couple were catholic which may have made a difference but absolutely no records for the surrounding areas so I'm now expanding my searches to where their immediate families lived/died etc.

If nothing else it keeps me busy meanwhile  ;D

Of course I do hence the reason I know where both died & their usual home address as well as the fact they died 7 mnths apart as well as both informants (family members).

Lyndsey...

I would be very happy with any help to be honest & thank you for your offer greatly!

Can you PM me please as the era is within privacy yrs & there are names I can't put on this site as they may well be alive (I haven't checked into it yet)?
