Thomas was born 20th August 1883  (can do a binary search on dates).

There is a deceased estate at NSW Archives for Thomas Simister which I could photograph next time I am there - but probably not much help in finding why his parents travelled back and forth.  https://www.records.nsw.gov.au/searchhits_nocopy?keyname_search=simister&id=15

Thanks Ros. I did find evidence of the deceased estate when I used Keyname on NSW Records.

This search is on behalf of a friend. If you have the time, I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Assume that you (or your Friend) have the details from the Coroner's inquest following Thomas' death in Sept 6,1932. The details aren't easy to read so wondered what his cause of death was from his death certificate? (assuming that you have it, of course)

Also the death/funeral notices are available on TROVE.

Family Trees on Ancestry have the family listed. Unfortunately not many have correct details - but I guess you knew that already   :P

Would you believe this search originated within the last week. I have the SMH obit of 9th Sep.1932, but have never tried to access a coroner's inquest. Are NSW inquests available online?
Thanks Lady Di.

Will the d/c be included with coroner’s or deceased estate documents?

It is quite possible that the d.c. is included in the deceased estate file, as it is a city, "fairly recent" one.   (The earlier rural ones tend to have a statement by a local dignitary that "he has seen the body").

From the Coroner's Inquest looks like Thomas died of injuries after falling from a scaffold.

Hi
Do you have the details of Thomas's brother George who also returned to Australia?
