I think the AWD bit is actually AWOL with a mistake.

Thanks Bilge you could be right. I wonder what the F.P. And the word after says? I wonder though where he was if the battalion was in its way to Egypt ?

It isn't AWOL.

In English it says "awarded 10 days Field Punishment No 1.  Somewhere else on his record there may be his conduct sheet which may have the charge he was found guilty of.

It isn't AWOL.

His record seems to be duplicates and the other copy is better. There may be some writing on the end column where he was in bother but no idea what it says bits attached
