Might this not be better placed on an Irish board?
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

Lots of information online, probably not all accurate, but will give you a starting point as there will be few surviving records (of they ever did exist). Google 'James Huston 1765 Ulster'
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
