Dudley family of Cole

I have 3 generations of Cole confirmed dates etc and birth place but the 4th is elusive, thought it was Chaddesley Corbett but now not so sure, as follows:

Joseph Cole 1694-1756 married Mary Burrowes 1703-1750 in Dudley 23 December 1729, she came from Halesowen but any ideas where he came from ?

Their son William Cole 1729-1804 married Mary Cooke 1727-1802 in Dudley / Sedgley both from Sedgley in April 1756.

Their son Joseph Cole 1760-1839 married Hannah Elwell 1765-1843 in Dudley on 16 May 1785 both from Sedgley.

Their son Joseph (yet another Joseph) 1800-1871 married Hannah Wolverson 1801-1913 on 17 December 1820 at St Peter's in Wolverhampton.

So I am trying to establish where Joseph Cole 1694-1756 was born and if possible where his family originate from, looked through most parish registers but drawn a blank, any help appreciated..

Joseph marriage in 1729 would make him 35, which seems a little old for the period, was he married before I wonder?

The nearest I can get to the birth year you mention but a bit further North - On family search .

Thank you for your suggestions I will delve deeper, I think I should take a trip to the Dudley archives to see if there is any more information available on the original wedding record for Joseph and Mary Burrowes... Ian
