Help with parents of John Sutton born 1787

Hi Rootschatters
I am looking for some help to find the right parents of John Sutton born in 1787 and baptised in Barham Kent on 30/12/1787. Parents are given as Richard Sutton and Mary. John can be found on the 1851 census 1631/448/12.
It is his parents I am stuck on there are quite a few Richard and Mary combinations from the surrounding villages. I have identified a possible older brother William born at Barham in 1790 but no earlier births to this couple.
I need a fresh pair of eyes to help me locate a possible marriage of a Richard Sutton and Mary at some point before 1787.

The closest I can find is 14 October 1780 Patrixbourne Richard Sutton of Kingston to Mary Bushel of Patrixbourne.

Looking at a map Patrixbourne, Kingston and Barham are all within a few miles of each other.

I have also found the following baptisms at Barham for children of Richard and Mary. PR images available to view on FindMyPast

That is the one I found and then I started to doubt myself and didn’t want to jump to conclusions. I know records get scare the further back you go but it always good to have someone else look at it and come up with the same answer.

  3 baptisms in Kingston, Mary, 1781, Richard, 1783, Edward, 1786. These seem to fill the gap between the 1780 marriage and John, 1787.
