Have you checked www.familysearch.org?  Lots of male Saunders marriages to a Mary

1860 marriage cert will have her fathers name. www.lancashirebmd.org.uk shows it was at Childwall All Saints

Once fathers name and occupation is known it will make tracing easier for you

Susan Scott Saunders seems her father is unlikely to be the Saunders line I am researching

It is Richard Saunders b abt 1772

From Devon

Just happened to be on Guernsey the same period

He was a shoemaker / cordwainer ??

Do you mean Susans father was Richard or do you mean Richard is the line you are researching?

If you are saying her father is Richard b 1772 he would have been around 67 when she was born??

I was searching for a Richard Saunders connection

In 1841 and 1851 Richard is in Guernsey

I thought in the research I was doing found a Saunders family of Susan Scott Saunders with a

Mary Saunders 25 with Susan 2, Richard 4, eleeves 6, and eliza 8

Thought Mary may have been related to Richard
As they were living on Guernsey at the same time
