Liverpool newspapers

Are there any index for the Liverpool Newspapers. I cans readily see any on BNA. Looking for a death notice/obit for William Reid died April 4 1920 in Hoboken New Jersey. So notice may be a little after that with delay of being notified of death. He is buried in New York.

Thanks in advance

I have not done it myself but someone did it for me, The   National Newspaper Archives had copies  of Newspapers reporting events in a village
 in 1914.
Worth a try.

He was a sailor on board the SS Vestris and died on way to hospital in Hoboken of a lung problem. So it could have been awhile before his family would have been informed I would think.

If it was a while before his family heard of his death there may not be an obit
