i am exploring my late fathers Roots
His name was Stanley Michael Westcott
he was Born in wellington somerset in 1925
He grew up at 40 north st wellington, which was the site of bishop bros foundry .
this Business was owned by his father and grandfather Frederick Harold Westcott & Fredrick Westcott they purchased the business in 1930 from bishop bros
I am visiting Wellington for the first time from Australia in August this year.
For the purpose of exploring where my father grew up. My father emigrated to Australia in the early fifties and never returned. Hence the only information i have is from the stories he told me i would very much like to hear from anyone who known anything about this business or the Westcott family in wellington
