Hi all
Im interested in a Catherine wolfe who was the wife of robert wolfe and they were married in 1900 and live on a farm at kodj kodjin near kellerberrin wa . I am mainly interested in any children she may have had during her time at kodj kodjin .

Had a quick look but seems all children were born in New Zealand before they married in Australia.

A newspaper article on the divorce of Robert and Catherine makes no mention of kids. I cant find births neither. Not to say there were no kids as the WA birth index has a lot of births with no parents names so makes it hard to search.

Robert Travers WOLFE also with wife Catherine not to be confused with R T S WOLFE.

WOLFE.--On December 6. 1937. at Gosnells, Lieut. Robert Tenant Stowe Wolfe (formerly of Woolwich. England). late of Kellerberrin and Wheatley-street. Gosnells. loving father of James and Irene; aged 80 years.

I believe Catherine Wolfe was nee HARPER
She is the sister of Charles HARPER.

In the divorce proceedings she is recorded as going to her mother Mrs HARPER.

Catherine became WEST.
Here is a marriage of a daughter who was born well beforel the marriage to Robert WOLFE.

At no stage was there any indication of children for Catherine and Robert WOLFE.

I traced Catherine with another marriage (and her death) in Queensland from her mother's death notice.

The West Australian (Friday 30 September )
HARPER — On September 27, 1927, at St. John of God Hospital, Elizabeth, beloved mother of Catherine Christie (Queensland) and Charles Harper, Victoria Park WA.

BUT, these “parents” named on the D.C.were actually those of Robert Tennant Stow WOLFE
Mother's name: Isabella Stone (STOW)
Father/parent's name: Robert Thomas WOLFE


The newspaper report of the WOLFE divorce indicated Catherine was mentally unstable. So, what story did the next poor husband hear?
