I have baptism record for Charles Magowan dated 15 Feb 1796, St Patricks, Dublin, but want to find out his parents names. Any help appreciated.

Doesn't say.....

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.

Maybe list the names of children from his marriage (eldest down to youngest) to help as naming patterns were the norm?

Thanks for reply
Now wondering if he had any siblings born 10 years either side in the same place??

He only had one son (as far as I'm aware) - Philip born 1830 in Oxfordshire, England....

Do you know the name of his father-in-law which may be a clue if not Philip/Felix for a clue as one would expect 1st (only) son to be named after his paternal g/father although not rigid?

What names are in the wife's family & are any of their children named after her family names to eliminate those for his likely parents names (if that makes sense) as you may see a pattern with the mother's family names to possibly help?
