Hi Sam,

It works !!!  ;D

I got a reply today to my post on The Belfast Forum from CMcG, who uploaded 8 photo's for me. The inscription is a bit weathered but can be read on the close ups. Quite an ornate memorial, much more than the plain headstone I was anticipating.

So now thanks to you & CMcG I can put John's history to bed. Thank you so much for all your help.
